Quality / Finish
The frames are a dark brown tortoise shell color, and are extremely lightweight and durable. The lenses are polarized polycarbonate with a special clear coating that make then scratch-resistant. The frames and lenses are flexible such that they can be twisted and flexed without breaking. This style is not only sporty looking, but it durable enough to survive an active lifestyle. With the help of nose grips and behind-the-ear grips, these sunglasses will not slide off even in the sweatiest of conditions.

Durability
These sunglasses are impact resistant and flexible. I have dropped mine numerous times and they have not suffered any damage. They are still as a perfect fit as the day I brought them home.

Comfort / Wearability
These sunglasses are very comfortable. Since they are so lightweight you do not even feel you have them on most of the time. The nose grips and behind-the-ear grips help to keep them in place while not tiring your nose or temples.

Tint – Visibility Balance
The Makaha have polarized lenses which make them great in a wide range of light conditions. The polarized lenses absorb 99% of glare. Some polarized lenses give you the 3D feel, but these are crisp and clear, while cutting out UV and the sun's searing rays.

Peripheral Vision
The peripheral vision is great, especially when playing sports or being active. The lenses are rimless thus enhancing your viewing angle.

Lens Coverage
The lenses provide the perfect amount of curvature and are just big enough to block out most of the sun.

Accessories
The case is soft-to-the-touch, black neoprene covering and internal rigid frame for good protection. There is a swivel clip on one end of the case that allows you to hook it to your backpack, purse, belt loops or anywhere else you see fit.

Conclusion
I really love these Maui Jim sunglasses. They have fared very well, and are a great shape and style for men and women alike. At $159 they are inexpensive compared to what else is out there; you get solid style and durable quality for under $200. Recommended.
