I bought these on a trip to Southern California in early March. I forgot my Kaenon UPD at home in Portland and needed some sunglasses to get me through the weekend. I bought them at Sunglass Hut at a local mall. Once I tried them on I was sold. I like the style and am particularly surprised that they are polarized. The fashion brands rarely offer polarized lenses for under $200.

Quality / Finish
The D&G DD2192 are simple and stylish without a lot of the bling most fashion brands are known for. I like that they are more understated without all the sparkle. This style is specific for women and they fit my face perfectly. The frame has a nice smooth brown tortoise finish with a simple D&G in gold on both of the arms. They are lightweight and easy to wear without any nose or ear fatigue.

Durability
The frames are lightweight but not flimsy. I have not dropped them yet so I can not report on their breakability, but the frame is a bit flexible so I’d imagine they would fare well. They are fashion frames so if you treat them as such you won’t have any problems.

Comfort / Wearability
These sunglasses are comfortable. They are lightweight and do not pinch or push on the bridge of my nose. This is a huge plus for me since that is one of the requirements I always look for. I took these on my Hawaiian vacation and switched between the Kaenons and these. I wore these for a few hours on our island car ride and had no fatigue to report on my nose or ears.

Tint - Visibility
The lenses are polarized with a medium brown tint. I have worn them on sunny and on overcast days and they fared well. They cut down on glare but are not exceptional. Nothing is distorted and colors appear to be true which is great for fashion glasses.

Peripheral Vision
The frames are slightly curved to the form of your face and the sunglass arms are narrow which does allow you to see peripherally without any problems. Although I would like to have a bit more protection from the sun in the corners of my eyes.

Lens Coverage
These frames and lenses are not entirely curved to form to your face so some sunlight does seep in the sides. Again these are fashion glasses and in that category I think they are good in covering what they can.

Accessories
The sunglasses come in a white cloth covered hard case with a zipper closure. Included is a white lens cloth with the D&G insignia. I would not have preferred white as a case color since I got it dirty in the first 20 minutes but the case is sturdy enough to protect the sunglasses.

Conclusion
These are a fun and fashionable pair of sunglasses. For the price they are a good value if you want a designer name on the sides of your glasses. I would not suggest wearing them for sports or other outdoor activities, but for everyday use they are great. I would recommend these sunglasses.
